The first highlight of London… The Vaults. A local turned us onto this venue, mentioning it would provide a fun atmosphere to watch some of the FIFA World Cup matches. Man was he right!
The land of fish and chips. When I think of our experience in London, I think of right place at the right time.
The highlight of Ireland was our drive through the countryside. As I previously mentioned, Cameron and I rented a car to drive west from Dublin to Galway. Now you may be thinking, just as I did when he proposed the idea, “Are you crazy?”
We had the intention of going to Wicklow in hopes of hiking around Wicklow National Park. Little did we know, that this park was a 4-hour drive into the mountains from where the train drops you and there are no buses. Nevertheless, we turned it into a fun day exploring this small coastal village!
The land of green and Guinness. Ireland is amazing! The people are loud, witty and sarcastic which always made for great entertainment. Everything is green (my favorite color!) and drinking is their favorite pastime. Needless to say, we had a blast!
The highlight of Malmö/Lund…Ribersborgs Kallbadhus. This 116 year-old open-air bath is located on the beach of Ribersborgs in Malmö, just down the way from the Turning Torso building.
The land of flowers. Just a quick 20-minute train ride from Copenhagen, Malmo is a small city known for it’s Twisting Torso building.
